"What we've looked into is the discrepancy between the opportunities available to students in their home countries versus their experiences of higher education in America," Burnes said. "Just to witness what an ESL class is like is a reality check," Burnes said.

This is a call for papers to be published in a special issue of Innovate on the implications of the Net (echo boomer) generation for teaching and learning. The latter is the term used by Diana and Jim Oblinger in their recent EDUCAUSE book, Educating the Net Generation.
